Malkin: American troops = terrorists.

She said it. Of course, she was merely trying to insinuate that's what liberals are saying. She was referencing a post by Captain Ed, in which he says Kerry was calling American soldiers terrorists. I'm no fan on John Kerry, but Ed and Malkin are putting words into his mouth. Here's what Kerry said to Bob Schieffer on Face the Nation:
And there is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, you know, women
My first question to Malkin and Captain Ed would be, is there a reason that young American soldiers should be doing that or put in the position of doing that? Is it reasonable to break into the homes of Iraqis at night, scaring the living hell out of women and children? I've watch many documentaries and news reports following soldiers during their patrols in Iraq — and they weren't even Michael Moore films — that show soldiers breaking down doors in the dead of night (as Kerry described) it, and waking up a sleeping family (including women and children), pointing guns in their faces and yelling at them in a language they do not understand. If that were to happen in my home, I would be terrorized. Does that mean I'm calling American soldiers terrorists? I don't believe so. But if that's what Malkin and Captain Ed want to infer — they said it, John Kerry didn't and I didn't. It's another example of creating an outrage when nothing outrageous was said or done. It's all they are left with.
